When to Consider a Nose Job in Miami

Nose Job

Rhinoplasty is a cosmetic surgical procedure that is commonly called a nose job. There are several reasons you may consider getting a nose job in Miami starting with the appearance of your nose. It may have bumps, asymmetry, be too wide or too narrow and/or have large nostrils. These are cosmetic reasons and are the most common reasons people consider a nose job.

Other reasons include difficulty breathing because of blocked nasal passages and injury. A rhinoplasty procedure can focus on one part of the nose or change the shape of the whole nose. Here are a few things to consider before getting a nose job in Miami.

You should have realistic expectations. There may be other ways you can change your appearance, such as changing your hairstyle or makeup. A nose job is a complex and intricate surgery and the amount of change that is possible will depend on your nasal architecture and other factors. The nasal framework needs to be maintained to be sure that the results are long-lasting.

In order to be satisfied with the results, it is important to know why you want the surgery. If you want to change your appearance to please someone else, you may not be happy with the results. It is a personal issue, so do it for your own reasons and not someone else’s.

Other things to consider are:

  • You will need to take enough time off work for recovery after the procedure.
  • The final results may take weeks or months to appear. By this time, you’ll be fully healed.
  • You should avoid strenuous exercise for a set amount of time after the procedure.
  • You should be in good overall health

If you have cosmetic or medical issues with your nose, you may want to consider a nose job in Miami to improve your appearance and health. Get in touch with us at Flores Plastic Surgery to get started. Contact our office today to schedule a consultation!
